Troubleshooting Guide 2

1. Feel the grooves

This method can be a little trickier, but by following these steps we can your suitcase open in no time.

  • Step 1: Source a thin, but rigid object. I.e, piece of paper, thin piece of plastic film, razor blade, etc.
  • Step 2: Insert the object between each number dial, feeling the central pillar running underneath.
  • Step 3: Cycling through each number, feel the shape of the pillar, it should feel smooth until you find a slight groove. It's important not to apply too much pressure otherwise this groove could be missed.
  • Step 4: Once you have felt the groove in the central pillar, cycle 5 digits upward.
  • Step 5: Repeat the process for the second dial.
  • Step 6: Once you have found the first two numbers, cycle through the every number on the last dial, while and squeeze the slider to find your code.
  • Step 7: Voila! You're suitcase is now open!
2. Find the grooves
If you're not able to find the code by feel, I would recommend shining a phone light directly on top of the lock. You will be able to see a difference in the metal when you get to the number with the groove.
Then, once you've found the groove for at least 2, scroll up 5 numbers and be sure to keep those in the dial. With the final number, scroll up one by one on the dial, trying the slider at each number.

3. Random scrolling
This process is a bit of a weird one and can sometimes take a while.
Pressing or holding the slider across use a few fingers to scroll through random number combinations. Make sure to avoid applying pressure to the lock as this can make it tricker. You can view a video of this here.
